Hedge cryptocurrencies
There are several ways to hedge Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
Long positions from the spot market can be hedged by derivatives like: futures, perpetual swaps, options
or indexes. These instruments allow usage of strong leverage without a high level of assets freezing.
Cryptocurrency exchanges go towards traders' expectations and test new tools like dedicated short- and long- tokens with embedded leverage and custom crypto indexes.
In some cases using indirect hedge is a preferable one. Identifying negatively correlated assets also allows to secure the position on the spot market.
